Dišave in vidiki znanosti: biokemija med dvema državama

Z novim dvoletnim projektom bomo nadaljevali naše sodelovanje s šolo Rudbeksgymnasiet v mestu Örebro na Švedskem. Cilj projekta je nadgraditi pouk biologije in kemije ob izboljšanju sporazumevalnih zmožnosti v tujem jeziku. Dijaki bodo izvajali laboratorijske vaje, ki jih bomo izpeljali v dogovoru s švedsko šolo. Te se bodo vezale na okoljske teme in na podjetništvo: dijaki obeh šol bodo spoznavali podjetja, kjer so specifična znanja iz kemije in biologije še posebej pomembna.

Il giorno 18 maggio 2021 abbiamo seguito una presentazione online del centro di ricerca europeo per la biologia molecolare EMBL. I ricercatori della sede centrale di Heidelberg ci hanno illustrato i nuovi campi di ricerca in materia di microbiologia e biochimica.

Students exchange in Örebro (29th March – 4th April 2022)

From March 29 to April 5, 2022, the 5th and 4th grade students from the Chemistry, Materials and Biotechnology section took part in an exchange in Sweden, in the city of Örebro.

The enthusiastic students got to know their peers from Rudbecksgymnasiet and their families, the city and its surroundings, and also saw the capital Stockholm.

The school lab activities were especially interesting: DNA extraction and analysis, purification of green fluorescent proteins and electrophoresis. They also visited the University of Örebro and its well-equipped laboratories.

The students will certainly have fond memories of the cycling visit to the city, the hike in nature, the relaxed Sunday with Swedish friends in the Escape Room, as well as the beginner’s lessons in Swedish language and the presentation of local traditions, culture and food.

Students exchange in Trieste (24th April – 30th April)

Coffee experience: lab analyses, cultural insights: Trieste the town of coffee, visit of historical cafes and study visit of the roasting company Primo Aroma.
